The site of Seton Castle, nine miles south east of Edinburgh, is on top the grounds of the historic Palace of Seton, the once vast courtyard house originally built in the 1100s by Seier de Seton. It was designed by renowned architect Robert Adam in 1789, built from the ruins of Seton Palace.
